Jenny Platt

Jenny has over 20 years’ experience as a professional actress on both stage and screen. She graduated from East 15 acting school in 2001 which taught her so many important skills, many of which she still uses to this day.

Over the years she has been lucky enough to work in some of the country’s most exciting theatres such as Traverse 1, Royal Exchange Manchester, The Hampstead Theatre and The Bush, and to have been directed by some truly inspiring directors including John Tiffany, Mike Bradwell and Raz Shaw.

Her TV credits include Foyles War, The Bill, Casualty, Mapp and Lucia, Versailles and The Bay but she is probably best known for her four year stint as Violet in Coronation Street.

Most recently she has been in the current reboot of Waterloo Road as Rose Massey.
